Founded in 2009, Canadian Place Endoscopy has quickly become a respected outpatient clinic dedicated to performing colonoscopies and gastroscopies in a professional and relaxing environment. Through open and honest communication, exceptional diagnosis and compassionate care, Dr. Sundeep Rai and his associates work hard to provide their patients with the high-quality healthcare service they deserve. At Canadian Place Endoscopy, we understand that having your digestive tract — including the colon, esophagus, stomach and small intestine — screened for cancer or other diseases or disorders is the last thing you want to consider. But we also know that accurate screening is the most effective way to prevent colorectal cancer or detect other gastrointestinal conditions that can’t be diagnosed in any other way.
That’s why we are committed to providing the most timely, innovative, comfortable and minimally invasive diagnostic services and treatment available.
Dr. Rai is committed to a personalized approach to advanced diagnostics, providing each patient with the highest quality clinical treatment while maintaining their dignity. Dr. Rai and his associates foster approachable and personal patient care while delivering advanced digestive screening that could save their lives. Recognizing that having a colonoscopy can be frightening, they ensure that each patient is at ease and well-prepared, regardless of the outcome.
Dr. Rai received his medical degree from Queens University and his Board Certification and training in Critical Care and General Surgery from the University of Toronto. Aside from this role, Dr. Rai is a general surgeon in Acute Care Surgery at Trillium Health Partners.
Dr. Rai is a fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Canada (FRCSC), the American Board of Surgery (FACS), the Canadian Association of General Surgeons (CAGS), and the Ontario Association of General Surgeons (OAGS).
