Our highly trained and experienced endoscopists are specialists in the detection of upper gastrointestinal conditions.
Using the most advanced high-definition diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopes, we can find problems other physicians may have missed.
We know that most patients cannot tolerate the sensation of having an endoscope in their throats, so we provide conscious sedation in the form of Propofol. This gentle sedative lets you fall asleep quickly and wake up with none of the grogginess associated with other anesthesia.
The procedure usually takes 15 minutes and you can be in and out of our clinic within an hour. We may also use a local, liquid anesthetic to numb the throat to reduce the discomfort after the procedure.
